ORGANIZATION FOR THE STUDY OF SEX DIFFERENCES (OSSD)
The Organization for the Study of Sex Differences (OSSD) is a unique scientific organization that seeks to enhance knowledge of sex/gender differences by facilitating interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among scientists and clinicians of diverse backgrounds.
Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) E-LEARNING COURSES ON SEX AND GENDER INFLUENCES ON HEALTH AND DISEASE
These courses, offered free of charge by the National Institute of Health Office of Research on Women’s Health, give users a thorough and up-to-date understanding of sex and gender influences on health and disease and NIH requirements on factoring sex as a biological variable into research designs.
Users will be able to apply this knowledge when designing and conducting research or interpreting evidence for clinical practice. Offerings include: Bench to Bedside: Integrating Sex and Gender to Improve Human Health, Sex as a Biological Variable: A Primer, and Introduction to the Scientific Basis of Sex- and Gender-Related Differences.
