Our Scholarly Workshop on disseminating your research, held by our faculty fellow, Dr. Jaclyn Maher, showcased a competition for those whom attended and wanted to enter for chance to win one of many research related prizes (i.e. travel, supplies, educational activities, etc.).
Infographics were reviewed on the following categories:
- Community engaged research (reviewed by a committee based on below criteria)
- Qualitative research (reviewed by a committee based on below criteria)
- Quantitative research (reviewed by a committee based on below criteria)
- People’s choice (reviewed by workshop attendees)
After review, the infographic, “Exercise is Medicine”, by Louisa Tichy and Traci Parry of the Kinesiology Department won both the quantitative reviewed category and the people’s choice award. Congratulations on your outstanding work and for providing us with a great example on how we can best disseminate our research to be more accessible!
